Exhibitor FAQ

How the application process works

Applications are open until May 30. Confirmations and additional info will be sent out continuously, and no later than the end of June.

We send out confirmations and further information on a rolling basis, with all applicants hearing back by the end of June at the latest.

Submitting this form does not guarantee a confirmed exhibition space.

All applications will be reviewed and you will receive confirmation and next steps by email.

Malmö Game Week is open to visitors:

Saturday 10:00–20:00
Sunday 10:00–17:00

Friday is dedicated to setup and preparation. All exhibitors must have their booth fully installed before opening on Saturday.

Exhibitors are expected to arrive well before opening and remain present for the full duration of both event days.

Dismantling and move-out take place on Sunday after closing. All booths must be cleared from the venue on Sunday evening unless otherwise agreed.

To participate in Malmö Game Week as an exhibitor or vendor, you must adhere to our official guidelines.

MGW is a nonprofit, family-friendly event built around creativity, inclusivity and community. All exhibitors are expected to comply with Swedish law and uphold the spirit of the event.

In summary, this means:

  • No bootlegs, counterfeit goods or AI-generated artworks
  • Fan art must be clearly marked as unofficial and be your own original interpretation
  • No discriminatory, hateful, extremist, sexually explicit or graphic content
  • Professional and respectful behavior toward visitors and fellow exhibitors
  • Environmentally responsible booth practices

MGW reserves the right to intervene or remove participants who do not follow these guidelines.

If you’re under 18, you must be accompanied by a guardian during the entire event. Please make this clear in your application.

Malmö Game Week is a family-friendly event.
No 18+ material is allowed — this includes sexual content, depictions of violence, or other adult themes.

If you’re unsure whether your content qualifies as 18+, please email us before the event for clarification.

Violating this rule will result in immediate removal from the event and a ban from future participation.
