Artist Alley FAQ

How the application process works

Applications are open until May 30. Confirmations and additional info will be sent out continuously, and no later than the end of June.

We send out confirmations and further information on a rolling basis, with all applicants hearing back by the end of June at the latest.

Submitting this form does not guarantee a confirmed exhibition space. This is not first come, first served. We handpick based on your art, not how fast you applied.

All applications will be reviewed and you will receive confirmation and next steps by email.

Artist Alley is open throughout Malmö Game Week:
Saturday 10:00–20:00
Sunday 10:00–17:00

All exhibitors are expected to arrive well before opening and remain present for the full duration of both days.

To participate in Malmö Game Week as an Artist Alley exhibitor or vendor, you must adhere to our official guidelines.

MGW is a nonprofit, family-friendly event built around creativity, inclusivity and community. All exhibitors are expected to comply with Swedish law and uphold the spirit of the event.

In summary, this means:

  • No bootlegs, counterfeit goods or AI-generated artworks
  • Fan art must be clearly marked as unofficial and be your own original interpretation
  • No discriminatory, hateful, extremist, sexually explicit or graphic content
  • Professional and respectful behavior toward visitors and fellow exhibitors
  • Environmentally responsible booth practices

MGW reserves the right to intervene or remove participants who do not follow these guidelines.

  • A tablecloth for your table
  • Extra fabric to cover your table overnight – please note that Artist Alley is an open area
  • Any tools or equipment you may need to set up your display – you are responsible for your own space
  • A maximum of two people per table (yourself and one assistant or guardian)
  • Table dimensions: 180×80 cm – this is the space you will have to display your items
  • Unfortunately, we cannot guarantee extra space around your table

If you’re under 18, you must be accompanied by a guardian during the entire event. Please make this clear in your application.

Malmö Game Week is a family-friendly event.
No 18+ material is allowed — this includes sexual content, depictions of violence, or other adult themes.

If you’re unsure whether your content qualifies as 18+, please email us before the event for clarification.

Violating this rule will result in immediate removal from the event and a ban from future participation.

All packages include:

  • Event passes for you and one assistant or guardian
  • Your shop listed on the Malmö Game Week website
  • Two chairs


Basic – 750 SEK (ex. VAT)

Perfect for those who want to participate in a simple and affordable way. Includes:

  • One table (180×80 cm)


Premium – 1100 SEK (ex. VAT)

For those who want extra space and increased visibility. Includes:

  • Two tables (180×80 cm)
